

Temp-to-hire is an excellent way for you to preview a company's position, culture and business philosophy. You receive the same careful management by our Staffing Consultants as we use for our full-time positions. Our process works like this:

After your J Kent Screening, we search for companies and positions that align with your experience, education, skills, and motivation. Your flexibility, availability and career strategy must also be considered. Our Client determines assignment requirements.


After interviewing with our Client for a temp-to-hire assignment, a job offer to work for J Kent Staffing may be made to you by your Staffing Consultant.


If you accept J Kent's job offer, including assignment terms, conditions, and hourly pay rate, you will then be assigned to work at the offices of our Client for a specified period of time.


Your direct supervisor is your J Kent Staffing Consultant. You are paid weekly by J Kent.


If our Client determines to make you a full-time job offer, conditions of the employment offer are made through your J Kent Staffing Supervisor.


If you accept the offer, you agree to and are transferred in accordance with the Timesheet Agreement for Temporary Staffing. Our Client is now your employer of record.
