J. Kent Staffing, a 33 year old Denver based staffing & recruiting firm, is searching for a sales oriented Staffing Assistant / Recruiter Trainee to add to our team.  We are seeking an individual who can make a long-term commitment, with a strong desire to learn the industry.  This is a potential temp-to-hire employment opportunity and an excellent opportunity for those interested in breaking into the staffing and recruiting world! 

Requirements

Education, Certifications & Experience

  • Bachelor degree required (ideally in Business Administration, Marketing or related...)
  • 2+ years of business experience; administrative, sales and marketing experience preferred

Computer Skills

  • Advanced MS Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Strong internet research skills
  • Social media marketing skills a plus

Essential Functions, Duties & Responsibilities

Will be responsible for and trained in a wide range of office administrative, and recruiting and staffing support functions.  Primary duties will include

  • Answering telephones
  • Processing applicants coming into office for interviews
  • Completing I-9’s and E-Verify
  • Scanning HR related documents (I-9, W-4, E-Verify, Applicant Agreement) and attaching to applicant files
  • Researching and adding new companies and company contacts to the sales database

 Additional duties may include:

  • Contacting available employees for temporary assignments
  • Assisting Staffing Manager in filling temporary assignments
  • Making client/customer service, telemarketing calls
  • Updating and maintaining accurate database - processing email remove requests and correcting email undeliverables
  • Updating web site with new content (candidate summaries, job postings, etc.)
  • Assist with social media marketing
  • Other special projects, as assigned
