Company Overview

J. Kent Staffing is interviewing and hiring immediately for a Temporary Tech Support / Customer Service Specialist for our client, a start-up software company located in the heart of Downtown Denver. Having opened its doors in late 2008 with the mission to bring discounted computer software to all consumers, our client is fairly new to the Denver market, but growing quickly. Their office is a casual environment, yet everyone works professionally and at an accelerated pace. They are team centric and provide lunch for all employees at least once a week to build camaraderie.

Position Overview

We are seeking a tech savvy individual with an interest in computer software and customer service to assist our client during a 2-3 month project. Duties over the length of the assignment will include: providing technical customer support by phone and email to constituents, acting as the backup order processer by charging and uploading orders, checking for fraud, printing out labels, and making order changes and cancellations, responding to customer inquiries by phone and email, and completing other office tasks as assigned.

Qualified candidates will be team oriented while self-sufficient, experienced at multitasking, creative problem solvers and will be flexible to changing tasks. We are seeking a candidate who is looking to grow their tech support knowledge and professional experience while contributing to our client’s dynamic office environment.

Requirements

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • A Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree, a focus in computer science or information technology is preferred (someone who is in school and near completion of their degree will be considered)
  • A solid understanding of various types of software including: Microsoft, McAgee, Symantec, Corel, FileMaker
  • Outstanding computer skills
  • Ability to independently and efficiently complete tasks
  • Excellent customer service skills
