Payday, Paycheck, & Paycheck Corrections

Whom do I contact if I have ANY questions about Payday or my Paycheck?

How often do I get paid?

• J. Kent pays its employees weekly, if the Timesheet Deadline is met.

• Wednesday - for previous work week

• Thursday - if Monday is a holiday

Can I pick up my paycheck in person or send someone else to pick it up?

• No, J. Kent Staffing does not allow “in person” pickups of paychecks.

Is Direct Deposit available through J. Kent?
Yes, Direct Deposit is available.

• Direct Deposits provides a safe, convenient, electronic transfer of funds directly into your bank account
• Direct Deposit is highly recommended by J. Kent

If I choose Direct Deposit, when will the funds be available in my account?

• Funds are transferred to your account after 5:00 pm on Payday.
• Funds are available no later than 2 business days after Payday.
• You will be mailed a “non-negotiable” paycheck advice

Is J. Kent Staffing responsible for overdrafts on my account?

• No, it is your responsibility to always verify funds were received

• If you choose “mail”, J. Kent cannot guarantee or control when you will receive your paycheck via the U.S. Postal Service.
• If you choose “mail”, J. Kent is not responsible for the possibility of check loss or mail delay.

• If you lose or do not receive your Paper Check in the mail, a replacement check will be issued the next weekly pay period following 30 days from original payday mailing date.  Current bank stop payment charges will be deducted from the Replacement Check.

• Paycheck errors will be corrected on the next weekly payroll and processed according to the Payment Method you selected.
