Claims Analysts monitor liability claims throughout the claim process, reviewing claims to ensure accuracy and completeness. They review the policy to determine which charges are eligible for reimbursement, and reconcile Claims Adjusters’ estimates. Claims Analysts negotiate payment to all parties, and follow up to ensure that payments are made on time.
Claims Analysts are required to have a minimum of a high school degree or a GED, but an Associate’s or other advanced degree is preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, as well as various types of accounting software, is strongly preferred.
