Customer Service Directors / Managers direct and oversee all aspects of an organization's customer service policies, objectives, and initiatives. They develop and establish procedures and policies governing customer correspondence and the handling of customer complaints. This position requires a bachelor's degree with at least 10 years of experience in the field. Customer Service Directors/Managers are familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. They rely on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals, and perform a variety of tasks. They lead and direct the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Customer Service Directors/Managers typically reports to top management.
