| Job Overview |
The Director of Information Technology reports directly to the Managing Principal(s). This individual is responsible for leading the development and implementation of a strategic plan for technology for a Single Family Office (SFO).
Requirements
Education/Certifications/Experience

Bachelor’s degree in an IT-related field is required; a Master’s degree is preferred

1 or more advanced technology certificates are desirable, including Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP), etc.

7-10+ years’ experience managing or directing IT operations is required

Prior experience in an SFO environment is a strong plus

Proficiency in related computer programs

Substantial exposure to data processing, hardware platforms, enterprise software applications, and outsourced systems

Good understanding of computer systems characteristics, features, and integration capabilities
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Proven ability in IT planning, organization, and development

Demonstrated ability to apply IT in solving business problems

Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills

Able to present ideas and IT solutions in a user-friendly language
Essential Functions, Duties, and Responsibilities

Advises and coordinates the technical infrastructure of the Single Family Office (SFO)
- Responds to critical computer needs
- Supports and upgrades highly specialized software requirements on an ongoing basis
- Creates a positive impact on family connectivity and communications, as well as the costs and control of the SFO
Compensation – Corporate Type Benefit Package, Perks
This position can range from $75,000 - $150,000, depending on the complexity of the technology infrastructure required.
