The Family Art Director reports to the Major Principal(s). This individual is responsible for managing the family art collection.
Requirements
Education/Certifications/Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Art History or a related field required; Master’s degree is preferred

10+ years’ experience as a curator, art dealer, or art historian

Prior experience in an SFO environment a strong plus
Computer Skills

Proficiency in MS Office Suite required

Familiarity with digital databases used to catalogue art collections
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Knowledgeable of art preservation techniques and professionals

Familiar with art insurance and appraisals

Able to coordinate with top art professionals in the field
Essential Functions, Duties, and Responsibilities
- Purchases, sells and manages the family art collection
- Catalogues collections
- Coordinates transportation
- Manages insurance
- Acts as a curator showcasing and educating the family and guests at home functions and events
Compensation – Corporate Type Benefit Package, Perks
This position can range from $75,000 - $200,000.
