Medical Collectors focus on collecting bills for medical services rendered. Medical Collectors work either directly for the provider, or they can work for outside collection agencies. They contact clients regarding overdue bills and accounts, usually by phone, in order to collect payment. They can help to create payment plans that will suit the client’s needs. In cases of non-payment, medical collectors can initiate repossessing, wage garnishments, or involve legal authorities.
