Patient Transporters are responsible for transporting patients, as well as lab specimens, blood samples, and other biohazardous items. They help patients move smoothly between units and testing areas by providing transportation or directions, and ensure that all patient transportation equipment, such as wheelchairs, stretchers, or beds, are functional and sanitized. Patient Transporters are also responsible for transporting and securing medical records, and maintaining patient comfort, safety, and privacy.
