Portfolio Administrator
Portfolio Administrators assist in managing client portfolios, including stock, bond, and mutual fund accounts. Portfolio Administrators also open and process new accounts. They aid in the implementation of strategic changes and investments that boost the financial success of the portfolio. They also oversee electronic confirmations and portfolio modeling, reconcile daily cash, and handle day-to-day accounting. Portfolio Administrators are responsible for interacting with clients, monitoring account performance, and compiling reports for clients, executives, and Portfolio Managers.
Portfolio Administrators are generally required to have a Bachelor’s Degree in finance or accounting, or a related field. They must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly excelled. Prior experience is preferred.
