Real Estate Broker - Residential

Alternate Titles: Broker, Real Estate Broker, Associate Broker, Realtor, Broker Associate, Real Estate Sales Associate, Real Estate Agent, Office Administrator, Office Manager, Real Estate Associate

Residential Real Estate Brokers oversee real estate transactions in a residential real estate office.  Other duties usually include selling commercial real estate, renting commercial properties, and arranging loans.

Residential Real Estate Brokers obtain agreement from property owners to place properties for sale with real estate firms, and then monitor fulfillment of purchase contract terms.  They compare a property with similar properties that have recently sold to determine its competitive market price, and then generate descriptive, detailed lists of properties for sale.  Residential Real Estate Brokers act as an intermediary in negotiations between buyers and sellers over property prices and settlement details and during the closing of sales.  They appraise property values, and arrange for financing of property purchases.
