Denver Street Guide

The forefathers of our Mile High City gave us a street system that is manageable and easy to navigate. Metro Denver is laid out on the grid system. Our streets run north and south; our avenues east and west. The two primary lines of demarcation are Broadway and Ellsworth. Here are a few tips:

  • Broadway (runs north and south) separates east from west Denver
  • Ellsworth (runs east and west) separates north from south Denver
  • Streets west of Broadway are alphabetical
  • Streets east of Colorado Boulevard are double alphabetical
