Exceptional Computer Scores Help Secure Temp-to-Hire Role at Denver Nonprofit

Matthew

Administrative Assistant

Matthew, a California native with a passion for nonprofit work, connected with J. Kent Staffing when he relocated to Denver this summer. With a recent bachelor’s degree from California Polytechnic State University and excellent work experience, Matthew’s J. Kent Recruiter felt confident that we could help him with his Denver job search.

Matthew was eager to start working and was very receptive to working a few short-term temporary assignments until the right full-time opportunity presented itself. With his sociology degree, Matthew was hoping to find a fulfilling job with a nonprofit organization, and that’s exactly what we were able to match him with.

Our corporate client is a not for profit 501(c)3 that provides support to nonprofits focused on Downs Syndrome research, American relations with other countries, and the underserved in Denver. To fill their administrative assistant position, they wanted someone with a passion for nonprofits, 1+ years of administrative experience, and exceptional computer skills.

Matthew fit all of these qualifications. He worked throughout college as an administrative assistant at an accounting firm, and his computer scores are truly exceptional – he types 70 WPM and scored 100% in Word, 97% in Excel, 97% in PowerPoint and 90% in Outlook.

We knew our client would love Matthew, and we were right! After one interview, he started the following day on their temp-to-hire position.

Congratulations Matthew!
