HIM / Medical Records Clerks are responsible for organizing and keeping track of patient’s medical files and histories. They use computers to track and organize patient’s information based on office policies. HIM / Medical Records Clerks may also be responsible for recording and filing handwritten doctor’s notes, x-rays, scans and test results.
