On the first day of a new assignment (not subsequent days), you are required to notify your J. Kent Staffing Manager of your arrival via call/text/email as soon as possible upon arriving, but no later than 15 minutes after your shift start time.
To not have to interrupt your training, we recommend that you give your Arrival Notification just before you walk into your assignment.
You are also required to give an Arrival Notification the first day back after an Unscheduled Absence, and once you arrive to work if you were Tardy/Late.
If you are unable to report to work for your scheduled shift, you must notify your J. Kent Staffing Manager (not your Client Supervisor)* as soon as possible via call/text/email, but no later than one hour before your scheduled shift time, so that we have time to find a replacement for you, if needed.
In your call/text/email you must state the reason for your absence, and expected date which you will be able to return to work.
If you are unable to return to work on the date that you expected, you are required to give a daily update to your J. Kent Staffing Manager, so that we can be in communication with our Client.
On your first day back to work after an unscheduled absence, you are required to give an Arrival Notification (call/text/email) to your J. Kent Staffing Manager, so that we know you are back at work.
Our Client is counting on you to be at work every day, and so are we. Excessive unscheduled absences may be cause for removal from assignment and/or termination from J. Kent Staffing.
*There may be situations where you are instructed by J. Kent Staffing to inform BOTH J. Kent and your Client Supervisor if you are going to be absent.
If you will be more than 5 minutes late for your scheduled shift, you must notify your J. Kent Staffing Manager (not your Client Supervisor)* via call/text/email as soon as you know you will be late.
In your call/text/email you must state the reason for being late, and the expected time which you will be arriving at your assignment.
When you arrive at work after being tardy/late, you are required to give an Arrival Notification (call/text/email) to your J. Kent Staffing Manager stating what time you arrived so that we know you are back at work.

All Time Off Requests (doctor appointments, vacations, etc.) must be emailed to your J. Kent Staffing Manager as far in advance as possible. In your email, please state the reason for the request, the days/dates requested, and the time needed off (if not a full day).
Do not request the time off directly with our Client. We will communicate with our Client about all reasonable requests and your J. Kent Staffing Manager will let you know if your request is approved.
J. Kent Staffing will try to accommodate all reasonable Time Off Requests, however, we cannot guarantee that all Time Off Requests will be approved.
At our Client’s request, a new J. Kent Employee may be assigned to work for the Client during your approved absence.
