What is J. Kent’s Candidate Recruiting Philosophy?

J. Kent recruits a diverse set of candidates with various strengths, backgrounds, experiences, and talents. What types of employment opportunities and recruiting services does J. Kent offer?

We offer Temporary, Temp-to-Hire, and Direct Hire job opportunities, with full-time and part-time work schedules. Our Temporary assignments are both short-term (1 day to 1 month) and long-term (over 1 month) in length. Please visit Services for more details.

Does J. Kent specialize in specific jobs and industries?

How much does it cost to use J. Kent for my job search?

J. Kent’s services are free to you, the Job Seeker. We are compensated by our corporate clients to identify qualified candidates for Direct Hire and Temp-to-Hire positions, and Temporary assignments.

Do you offer work-from-home opportunities?

We rarely have work-from-home opportunities.

Do you get weekend or evening jobs?

Most of J. Kent’s office-based employment opportunities are during normal business hours (i.e. Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM). However, we do also recruit and hire for part-time office opportunities during other daytime hours, as well as weekend and evening events and projects.

What locations/areas do you service?

J. Kent Staffing is proud of its Denver and Colorado roots. We primarily work with companies with offices in the Greater Denver Metropolitan Area, but some of our assignments and job searches span to other Colorado cities and regions including, but not limited to: Boulder, Fort Collins, Colorado Springs, and some mountain and western slope areas.

How do I get started on my job search with J. Kent Staffing?

The first step in the process is to register here, where you will be prompted to upload your resume and complete our application. All registrations are reviewed by our Recruiting Team, and you will be contacted by a J. Kent Recruiter if we have opportunities that align with your background, skills, and experience. You can find a listing of our current job openings under Search For Jobs, where you can apply for that specific job opening right from the listing on our web site.

I have registered in the past with J. Kent Staffing. How do I update or complete a new registration?

If it has been longer than one year since you have previously registered, please contact our office at 303-777-7734 so that we can give you access to complete a new registration. If it has been less than a year since you have registered with us, you may simply log in to our website and update your file from there. If you are unable to log in or have forgotten your username or password, give us a call at 303-777-7734 and one of our staff members will assist you.

Your website isn’t allowing me to register. How do I bypass this?

If you find you cannot register on our website, please give us a call at 303-777-7734 and one of our staff members will assist you in this process.

When can I expect to hear back from J. Kent Staffing after I register?

Due to the volume of applicants we receive, J. Kent Staffing is unable to contact every Job Seeker who registers with us. If your background, skills, and experience align with one of our current or prospective job openings, a J. Kent Recruiter will be in contact with you. We sincerely wish we could help and place all Job Seekers who register, but unfortunately, that is not a realistic scenario. If you do not hear from us immediately, please know that you are in our system, and you may hear from us shortly. If you are interested in a specific job posting listed on our web site, please apply on the job posting for consideration.

I am relocating or planning to move to Colorado. Can you help me with my job search?

Although there are more complexities to your job search if you do not currently live in the area, it is certainly possible that we can help! By offering the option of remote interviews (via Skype and FaceTime, for example), we can assist candidates who currently reside outside of Colorado. Regardless of where you live, you want to start the J.
