Attendance While on Assignment

Who do I contact if I have ANY questions about my attendance?

  • Contact your assigned J. Kent Staffing Manager at 303-777-7734.

Who do I contact if I am running late and unable to be on time to my assignment?

  • Immediately contact your assigned J. Kent Staffing Manager at 303-777-7734 to report why you are running late and what time you expect to arrive at your assignment.

Should I contact J. Kent’s Client to report my lateness?

  • No, DO NOT contact the J. Kent Client to whom you are assigned unless instructed by your J. Kent Staffing Manager.
  • Your J. Kent Staffing Manager is responsible for notifying the J. Kent Client of your expected reporting time and reason for the lateness.

Who do I contact if I am sick and unable to report to my assignment?

  • Immediately contact your assigned J. Kent Staffing Manager at 303-777-7734 to report why you are “unable to report for work” and when you expect to return to work at your assignment.
  • You are required to report at least 1 hour before your scheduled start time, in order for J. Kent to provide a “replacement employee” to fill your job during your absence, if necessary.
  • DO NOT contact the J. Kent Client to whom you are assigned unless instructed by your J. Kent Staffing Manager.
  • Your J. Kent Staffing Manager is responsible for notifying the J. Kent Client why you are “unable to report for work” and when you expect to return to work at your assignment.

Do I need to place an Arrival Call to my J. Kent Staffing Manager after returning to work from my Sick Day absence?

  • Yes, you are required to place an “Arrival Call” to your J. Kent Staffing Manager on the first day that you have returned to work after your “absence” and report that you are back on assignment
  • You are required to place your “Arrival Call” as soon as you arrive, but no later than 15 minutes after arrival.
  • Your Arrival Call is documented in your personnel file.
Do I need to fill out an Unpaid Time Off Request Form; what is the process?
Yes, you are required to fill out J. Kent’s “Unpaid Time Off Request Form” for one (1) day or more of Time Off requested during your assignment.
  • You are required to give 1 week's notice for the request so that we may find a J. Kent Replacement Employee to perform your assignment duties in your absence, if requested by J. Kent’s client.
  • You are required to complete and sign the form and submit via fax or e-mail to your J. Kent Staffing Manager.
  • Your Time Off Request will be reviewed by your J. Kent Staffing Manager and submitted to our Client for approval.
  • The Time Off Request, may or may not be approved by J. Kent’s client.

Do I need to place an Arrival Call to my J. Kent Staffing Manager after returning to work from my approved Time Off?

  • Yes, you are required to place an “Arrival Call” to your J. Kent Staffing Manager at 303-777-7734 on the first day that you have returned to work after your “Approved Time Off” absence, and report that you are back on assignment.
  • You are required to place your “Arrival Call” as soon as you arrive, but no later than 15 minutes after arrival.
  • Your Arrival Call is documented in your personnel file.
