Job Overview

Property Management Assistants perform all administrative tasks for the property management department or office, and provide clerical support.  Property Management Assistants prepare letters, lease summaries, and management proposals, handle property maintenance calls, and file.  They sometimes perform reception duties.
Property Management Assistants are required to have a minimum of a high school degree or GED, though a Bachelor’s degree is preferred.  They must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Word and Excel, and the Internet.  Additional proficiency in property management software such as Skyline is a plus.  Previous experience as an administrative assistant, or working in the real estate industry, is strongly preferred.
