Growing up in Plano, Texas, this J. Kent Candidate was a competitive figure skater and frequently travelled to Colorado for performances and competitions. When the opportunity came to select a college, University of Denver was top on her list. Recently graduated with a double major – BA in International Studies and a BA in Spanish Language & Literature, with a minor in Italian. Kept very busy in college by working as a Front Desk Assistant in the Housing and Residential Education Dept, and also supported a Denver Councilman as an Aide Intern in 2012. Put her language abilities to the test by tutoring Spanish and working as a Teacher’s Assistant in the upper level Spanish classes. With an outgoing and friendly personality, and enjoyment of all things ‘fun’, also worked with DU’s student organization to plan large music events and festivals on campus. Eager and excited to get an entry level job in Denver’s business world!
