Controller with 20 years of experience is seeking full-time position in Denver. A graduate of the University of Colorado with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. Previous experience includes supervising, training and hiring 3-6 staff accountants, to include preparing performance reviews, writing job descriptions and procedure manuals, eliminating turnover and promoting staff internally. Experience in preparing monthly financial statement package and variance analysis, developing and documenting monthly closing procedures and daily accounting processes, monitoring cash flow, coordinating year-end financial review and tax returns with outside CPA, and perform various HR functions including interfacing with payroll service and insurance companies.
