For the last 6 years J. Kent Candidate has worked in a two person HR and Payroll department for a rapidly growing oil and gas company and has been integral in building the department from the ground up.  Duties have included processing payroll for 250+ employees in 9 states, benefits management, on-boarding, audits and compliance (Payroll, 401k, HR and SOX Audits) and background and drug test facilitation.  Coordinator and point person for the implementation and maintenance of Paychex and ADP HR, Payroll and Time Attendance systems.  Key player in the design of forms and processes within a SharePoint intranet site and had been instrumental in creating streamlined payroll and HR processes throughout the department and company as a whole.
