Currently lives in hometown Richmond, Virginia, this J. Kent candidate is looking to make the move to Colorado. While serving in the Army, spent mostly in Ft. Carson – also serving a 9-month deployment to Afghanistan – fell in love with the mountains and culture and hoped to return one day. Returning to VA, completed BA in History from VCU. After working in the insurance field, decided to pursue passion of working with computers into career – obtained BS in IT with a Systems Administrator track from the Univ of Massachusetts, Boston. Currently works as an IT intern; supports day to day operations for 300+ employees across Virginia – provides Tier1 help desk assistance, systems and network administrator support, setup and maintenance of computers. While gaining valuable, hands on IT experience from this position, is now looking for a challenging, growth opportunity in the Denver area!
