A Colorado native who grew up in Golden and attended Colorado State University. Pursed a BA in History and participated as an intramural sports referee and was a part of the German language club as well as the study abroad club. This candidate worked for a small medical billing company while in college where responsibilities included setting up and supporting Linux workstations and internal network infrastructure, providing daily tech support and rolling out updates on a Debian-based distribution. After that had the bug to travel and headed to Taiwan to teach English to students. Then came back and worked in IT for a major investment firm, before getting the opportunity to work as a Curriculum Coordinator in Japan. Now back in Denver and looking to settle into an IT career with a great company! Currently pursuing CCNA and RHCSA and has experience with Ruby, Bash, Javascript, HTML, CSS, Linux and Debian.
