Colorado native presents with a BS in Accounting from University of Northern Colorado in 1992, and received a CMA designation in 1999. Started college on a music scholarship (he’s a drummer!), but quickly realized that accounting was his forte. So, great left brain/right brain capabilities! Has worked for some great Denver companies in his 20 year career, to include Children’s Hospital, CoBiz Financial, and Quiznos. Strong financial reporting background, with ability to write concise financial narratives for senior management and BOD’s. In depth experience with inventory valuation and analysis, financial statement preparation, monthly close, GL analysis and reconciliation, financial analysis, and internal audits. Tested 97% in MS Excel, and strong accounting software experience in several packages to include Peoplesoft, Macola, MAS500, Oracle, JD Edwards, and QuickBooks.
