This was the situation with one of our Denver nonprofit clients with a vacancy in their Database Coordinator role. While J. Kent’s team of Direct Hire Recruiters started on the search for permanent candidates, our team of Temporary Recruiters was able to quickly identify and hire a qualified temporary candidate who didn’t have to go through quite as extensive of an interview process.
The temporary employee hired for the job was Ben, an excellent candidate with an MBA, outstanding computer skills, and a passion for analytics. He moved from North Carolina to Colorado two years ago for his love of the mountains. This opportunity appealed to Ben as it was a chance to work with a great team at a top Denver nonprofit organization, with the potential to be considered for their full-time opening. In his new role, Ben works closely with the Development Department to manage and maintain a large Raiser’s Edge database of constituents.
With his “foot-in-the-door”, Ben now has the chance to prove himself with his skills and work ethic. Whatever happens in the end, we are confident that Ben will make a positive difference at our client.
