Born and raised in Colorado, Allie attended Whitman College in Washington State where she played college soccer and received her Bachelor of Arts in Biochemistry, Biophysics, and Molecular Biology. Throughout college, Allie worked in labs as a Research Associate and, after graduating, she returned to Colorado and worked in the medical field for three years as a Patient Care Manager.
Although her original plan was to attend medical school, Allie decided that she ultimately wanted to return to a more research-focused role as opposed to being patient-facing.
Passionate about helping in her community, Allie was a great fit for our client, a nonprofit organization focused on advancing the care, advocacy, and resources for individuals with Down Syndrome. Since July 2023, Ally has been a Temporary Associate of J. Kent Staffing, working as a Research and Medical Care Consultant where she reports to our client’s Senior Director of Research and Medical Care, and to the President and CEO.
Outside of work, Allie loves to hike and explore – she has been to six out of seven continents to date, giving her ample opportunity to put her Spanish fluency to good use! She has a twin sister and two beloved dogs that are frequently the subject of her watercolor paintings (see photo inset).
