J. Kent’s Denver Staffing Managers have seen an increased demand for Medical Assistants (MA) in the Denver market place both for full-time (Direct Hire) positions, and in temporary healthcare staffing.
In Denver, Colorado Medical Assistants work in a physician’s office, hospital, or other clinical facilities. Denver Medical Assistants perform routine administrative and clinical tasks under the direction of a qualified physician or other licensed health practitioner.
According to the U.S. Department of Labor’s Occupational Outlook Handbook, updated March 29, 2012, employment is expected to grow by 31 percent from 2010 to 2020, much faster than the average for all occupations.
Demand will stem from physicians hiring more Medical Assistants to do routine administrative and clinical duties so that physicians can see more patients.
Recently, one of J. Kent’s clients, a full-service hospital, requested temporary staffing for a Medical Assistant in one of their metro Denver sub-specialty facilities, a spine center. The spine center’s physicians, working closely with their Denver Medical Assistants, focus on spinal injuries, and other spine related health problems. The daily workload is quite heavy and full staffing was required. Therefore, the decision was made to on-board a temporary Medical Assistant to meet the critical human deliverable and keep the center on target during an eight week medical leave.
J. Kent’s Staffing Manager readily recognized that the specialist physicians needed someone very competent with the ability to be productive day one. After an in-depth interview, testing, background checking, and successfully completing the J. Kent Process, Carrie was hired, as she was best suited for the position above all the other candidates. Let’s take a look at Carrie’s qualifications and background.

Carrie was indeed exceptional! Identifying Carrie as the right match for our client both in technical skills and cultural fit was the right decision made by J. Kent’s Staffing Managers. Above all, our clients were pleased to have such strong support during the eight week absence of their full-time Medical Assistant. However, they were even more pleased to have such a highly educated, reliable, and productive temporary employee. It was a tremendously good experience for all.
