J. Kent Staffing’s new client is at the forefront of the driver-less wave! The Maryland based company is testing its autonomous steering system on their client’s commercial delivery vans and has enlisted J. Kent’s help in hiring testers for a 6-8 week period.
Our team of testers spends most of their shifts riding in the vans doing data entry of different metrics of the steering technology’s performance as they are imported into their apps. This work helps the company identify and troubleshoot potential issues with its steering systems.
Brady will be a senior next school year at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Arizona, majoring in aerospace engineering and minoring in fixed-wing flight. Back home in Colorado for the summer, this job was a perfect way to satisfy Brady’s interests in technology. Aside from also working on his private pilot license, he spends his free time playing and watching sports, and hanging out with his friends.
Charley worked the last part of his career with UPS doing ground operations at Denver International Airport. In 2020, with the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, the timing seemed right for him to retire. Charley came to the realization that full retirement didn’t suit him well, so we were happy that he was able to join our team for this interesting project. Charley enjoys spending quality time with his daughter and describes himself as being very young and playful in heart and spirit!
