J. Kent Staffing Moves Into New Offices in RiNo – December, 2021

J. Kent Staffing is excited to announce its move to the River North (RiNo) Art District of Denver!

Their new office condo is located in the Taxi Campus Development in the Taxi 2 building – a mixed-use office/residential property built in 2007. Thanks to the efforts of many, J. Kent Staffing received its Certificate of Occupancy on Dec. 7, 2021.

For this project, J. Kent Staffing partnered with Denver interior architecture firm, McDermott Associates Inc., www.mcddenver.com. McDermott’s Creative Director, Kasia Hypsher, spearheaded the design and oversaw the buildout of the 2,850 square foot space at 3457 Ringsby Court, Unit 103, Denver, Colorado, 80216. The industrial space was combined with contemporary design and furnishings, including a green foliage wall surrounding the unit’s mezzanine.

History of RiNo and the Taxi Campus Development

In the past, RiNo was a nerve center for Denver industries – warehouses, rail, and manufacturing. Now, it is one of the fastest-growing and evolving neighborhoods in Denver. It is home to artists, entrepreneurs, young professionals, and an array of new restaurants, hotels, clubs, businesses, residential condominiums, and mixed-use properties.

Located along the Platte River, north of downtown Denver and south of I-70, RiNo is expected to be a focal point of the city’s growth over the next decade.

The 4+ acre site housing the Taxi Campus has been developed in multiple phases over more than 20 years. Taxi was once a remediated brownfield site, home to the abandoned Yellow Cab taxi depot. As the property was developed, the 10 mixed-use office, retail, and residential buildings on the campus were named in the spirit of its taxicab history – Taxi 1, Taxi 2, Diesel, Drive, Drive 2, Freight, Kabin, etc.
