They meet with tenants about issues regarding the property, and also meet and speak with prospective tenants about properties. They show properties and explain lease agreements and stipulations. They may also run background and credit checks, and assist in making final decisions regarding tenancy.
Residential Assistant Property Managers may help write newsletters, pay bills, collect rent, and update financial records. They also market and advertise existing vacancies. They supervise maintenance workers and generate work orders, and follow up on tenant needs and requests.
