The Development Manager is responsible for all development and fundraising activities in an organization. They cultivate new and existing donor relationships, create and implement comprehensive fundraising plans, and help to build an organization’s visibility and financial resource base. Primary responsibilities of a Development Manager typically include working with organizational partners, including senior staff, the Executive Director, and the Board to create a development strategy, as well as identifying and developing a development team. The VP/Director of Development also oversees and executes all proposals, monitors funding trends, and regularly report on development metrics.
