Job Overview

Document Imaging Specialists are experts at scanning in important documents such as medical records, contracts, and applications. They must check the quality of the original document prior to scanning, and follow up with upper level staff if the quality will result in an illegible scan. Document Imaging Specialists then digitize the documents and upload them to the appropriate database. Document Imaging Specialists may also be responsible for basic repair and maintenance of relevant equipment.
