Job Overview

Regulatory Analysts obtain federal, state, and local permits needed for drilling, completion, and production processes. They maintain records and reports in accordance with the requirements of various governmental agencies. Regulatory Analysts may advise management of new or existing regulatory issues that effect oil and gas operations.  They may also prepare Application for Permission to Drill forms, and provide support for permit agents as necessary.

Regulatory Analysts are required to have a Bachelor’s degree in a related field.  They are required to have extensive knowledge of all state and federal compliance production and regulation reporting, as well as oil and gas industry experience.
