ETHDenver 2023, a community-owned innovation festival, recently attracted a large worldwide audience to Denver, Colorado. Over 10-days, there was a multitude of workshops, speakers, and parties throughout Denver all focused around and celebrating the hot trend of cryptocurrency.
J. Kent Staffing hired 18 leads and staff for registration, room monitoring, and coat check at two different venues in RiNo and for the event-closing party at Meow Wolf.
We are proud to introduce you to 5 members of our J. Kent Event Team. Each of these ladies has previously worked for J. Kent Staffing at other events and projects, and we know we can always count on them!
Cecelia Sanchez – Cece works full-time as a Financial Aid Officer for a college but enjoys taking on evening and weekend event work whenever she can. Cece has worked intermittent events and projects for J. Kent Staffing since 2018 and we always love having her back!
Jolene Bernhard – Jolene works in sales for a granite company on the weekends and can be regularly seen working at the registration desk at various trade shows at the Colorado Convention Center. Jolene has a knack for interacting with others and enjoys the social and networking aspects of event work.
Alexus Torres – Alexus most recently was a Program Assistant for Colorado’s Department of Human Services but left to pursue completing her degree. While in school, she worked last Fall for J. Kent Staffing on an inventory project, and we were happy to reconnect with her for this event! Alexus is a proud mom of two daughters and, in her spare time, enjoys reading, hiking/exercising, and crafting (she customizes shirts, cups, and hats).
Joy Bloom – Joy loves to keep busy in her retirement! She has worked for the Denver Election Commission supporting various Denver elections for over two decades. She also has fun as a dealer at “faux” Blackjack games, and supervising inflatables and other carnival games at various events throughout the Denver community. Joy, we love your energy and zest for life!
May Ichazov – May is no stranger to using staffing agencies for employment opportunities, both permanent and temporary. She enjoys the variety that agencies have offered in her career – from personal assistant work, to property management, to event roles. Her true passion, however, is in the Arts! A creative person at heart, May pursued Design Communications and Theatre in college and loves interior design.
