We all remember our first milestones in life, from buying our first car to landing our first job. Ask any Recruiter, and they will certainly remember their first placement. This is true of our President, Karen Booher, whose first recruiting success dates back to 2001.
At that time, Terrie was just a year out of college, with a Bachelor of Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance. She connected with J. Kent Staffing and was placed in an Administrative Assistant role for a small commercial real estate brokerage firm. When the owner branched out and started her own company, she took Terrie with her. Now, 19 years later, Terrie still works for the same boss she started with – an impressive tenure that’s rarely seen these days.
Over the years, Terrie took on more and more responsibilities and is now the company’s Office Manager & Accounting Supervisor. Today, Terrie continues to work very closely with the owner and is responsible for everything from managing the office to accounting for six commercial properties.
Recently, while doing some research on commercial real estate firms, Karen Booher stumbled upon a local Denver company. Recognizing the name of the owner, she looked further into it and was thrilled to see Terrie’s profile on their web site. It’s great to reconnect with our previous candidates – and it’s even better when we learn they are still with the same boss we placed them with almost two decades ago!
