3 Weekend Warriors Brave the Amusement Park to Supplement Income

For several years, J. Kent Staffing has been a proud vendor to Elitch Gardens, an iconic Denver amusement park in downtown Denver. Elitch’s is a people-driven business, focused purely on the customer’s enjoyment and recreational experience. But to reach that level of customer satisfaction, they need not only to have great attractions and friendly faces to greet and manage the customers, but also staff to keep track of the finer points so that the company can run smoothly. With that in mind, they came to J. Kent Staffing seeking temporary staff for data entry of season passholder information into their system. We were able to provide them with three exceptional candidates who all succeeded in their assignment.

J. Kent is proud of the team we sent, who consists of (left to right in the photo):

• Liz: Originally from Korea, Elizabeth moved first to Wisconsin and then to Colorado. Once a part of the loan processing industry, she decided she needed a change of pace and is currently taking classes on coding in order to change up her career to one she’ll enjoy more. In the meantime, she’s working temp jobs through J. Kent Staffing until she can land a job in her dream field!
• Martin: Believe it or not, Martin has been a temporary employee of J. Kent Staffing’s since 2013! In February, 2019, one of our nonprofit clients hired Martin as a full-time, bilingual Receptionist. A very hard-worker, Martin still loves to earn extra money on the weekends, so he continues to be a trusted “go-to” temporary employee for our weekend events and projects!
• Sharon: With many years of management experience at multiple companies, Sharon found herself in the situation that many of us face at some point in our lives of having to scale back her career to support an elderly parent. Thus, she came to J. Kent to find short-term temporary assignments and she has been a fabulous, reliable, friendly face ever since, requested back often by many of our varied clients!
