For college graduates, 2008 was a tough year. 2009 however, was even tougher. In December of 2009, Seth graduated with a Bachelor’s in Architecture from Roger Williams University in Bristol, Rhode Island, and he also made the Dean’s List. Unfortunately, in 2010 jobs were difficult to come by, and competition for the few professional architecture jobs available for recent college was fierce or non-existent.
Fortunately Seth had great computer skills and a great attitude, and this was recognized by J. Kent when he applied for temporary employment. He was soon hired by J. Kent Staffing to execute a temporary assignment for one of J. Kent’s non-profit clients as a Data Entry Clerk. His performance review was excellent.
Today Seth is employed by our client in a full-time capacity, utilizing his degree and receiving an above average salary for a recent college graduate with minimal experience. Seth is grateful for the opportunity and is giving 110% to his new job. Augmenting his salary, the company also offers an excellent benefit package that exceeded his expectations, to include a generous 401K retirement package. Good job Seth; we wish you the best in your new position as you develop and grow in building your career.
