Ebony is a proud Denver native and worked for many years as a Paraprofessional in the education field before making the transition into office work. For 5 years, she was the go-to person at a plumbing company – answering phones, dispatching services, paying the bills – whatever needed to be done!
She left that position for a better opportunity in the finance department of a local law firm where she was responsible for preparing monthly client billings. When the law firm moved the billing function to their Colorado Springs office, Ebony chose to stay in Denver so she would be able to help her mother care for her grandmother.
That’s when Ebony found J. Kent Staffing. She came to us looking for a permanent (Direct Hire or Temp-to-Hire) job, but when a 4 week temporary job as an A/P and A/R Specialist opened up, Ebony didn’t hesitate in accepting the assignment. Our Denver based client manufactures and installs new and replacement windows and they were quickly sold by Ebony’s work ethic and positive and cheerful disposition. After 1 month, she had a job offer for full-time employment which she was thrilled to accept!
