Elena was referred to us by someone who utilizes J. Kent Staffing for temporary staffing at their company. After completing her MBA in Charlotte, NC, Elena decided to relocate back to her home state of Colorado and took the advice to contact J. Kent Staffing regarding her Denver job search.
Elena met with her J. Kent Recruiter in December and was quickly submitted as a candidate for a 3+ month Administrative Assistant assignment with one of our nonprofit clients. Within a week’s time, Elena interviewed for the role and started the job.
For the past month, Elena has been supporting the Development Department with a variety of administrative tasks, mainly focused on donor thank-yous and follow-ups in the wake of their annual fundraising gala in November. Elena has impressed everyone with her positive attitude and the endless enthusiasm that she brings to work with her every day!
Outside of work, Elena has no shortage of hobbies and interests. She’s an avid and adventurous traveler and is passionate about repurposing thrifted and vintage goods. In the food & drink category, she’s crazy about ice cream (even during a blizzard), is obsessed with anything pineapple, and is a certified sommelier (and she doesn’t even drink wine)!
