Bre grew up in Colorado Springs and graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Colorado-Boulder with a BA in International Affairs, a minor in Business, and a Certificate in Leadership. After graduating, she enjoyed living in Tokyo for four years where she worked as a Program Manager for a JET (Japan Exchange and Teaching) Program. Upon returning to the U.S. in 2021, Bre focused her job search on human resources. She had exposure to recruiting and onboarding in her previous positions and wanted to continue to explore a career in this field.
Temporarily staying in Colorado Springs, Bre started diligently looking for work in the Denver area where she felt better connected culturally. After researching Denver recruiting firms, she applied to J. Kent Staffing and was soon matched with a long-term Administrative Assistant assignment at the Denver campus of her Alma Mater – University of Colorado.
Since November 2021, Bre has been providing a wide array of administrative support to a Director in the Department of Administration and Strategy. She continues to explore HR-focused opportunities within the University of Colorado system – as well as outside of it – but is pleased to be gainfully employed in an interim position where she is continuing to gain experience and is making a day-to-day impact.
