J. Kent Staffing loves helping Denver’s charitable community with its staffing and hiring needs! One of our valued clients is a public non-profit 501(c)(3) dedicated to significantly improving the lives of people with Down Syndrome and their families, through research, medical care, education, and advocacy.
Over the years, they have successfully utilized Temporary Staffing to vet and test the fit of potential candidates for their internal team. For them, it’s a win-win situation. They can fulfill their immediate workload requirements while assessing whether the talent has the skills and work ethic to be a long-term match for their company.
Born and raised in Boulder, Adrianna also spent time in Mexico growing up. She is fluent in Spanish and also has picked up some Portuguese from her mother’s Brazilian heritage. She graduated in 2020 from University of Colorado in her hometown of Boulder with a BA in International Affairs.
Adrianna completed several internships for nonprofits during college where she developed experience in grant writing, digital communications, social media, and administration/coordination. After graduating, Adrianna worked in sales and retail but ultimately wanted to join another non-profit, where her skills and passion are.
Adrianna connected with J. Kent Staffing and quickly became a top candidate for their long-term temporary, potential foot-in-the-door opportunity for an Administrative Assistant. After two rounds of interviews with our nonprofit client, she started her assignment in mid-October. Her organizational and strong interpersonal skills have been a positive, day-to-day difference-maker!
