Boulder CPA Firm with Last Minute Temporary Need Finds the Right Long-Term Match

Jennifer

Receptionist / Administrative Assistant

After graduating with a BA in Journalism and Mass Communication from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania in 2013, Jennifer’s aspirations in the hospitality industry led her to a resort in Charleston, South Carolina for the next 3+ years. In 2016, she moved back home to Pennsylvania to make plans for her eventual move to Hawaii. While at home, her mother was diagnosed with cancer, so the timing allowed her to be her mother’s caregiver over the next year.

Once her mother was in remission, after a 6-month stint at a local bed and breakfast, Jennifer finally moved to Hawaii and worked for Hilton Grand Vacations until she was furloughed the Spring of 2020 due to Covid. Hawaii’s hospitality industry was slow to recover, so Jennifer relocated to Denver in early 2021.

Jennifer had worked with staffing companies before, so connected with several in the Denver area after getting settled in her new home in Westminster. Her timing applying to J. Kent Staffing couldn’t have been better.

Boulder CPA Firm Needs Last Minute Receptionist Help

Our new Boulder client found themselves short-staffed in the heart of the busy tax season, so called upon J. Kent Staffing late on a Thursday afternoon to hire a temporary Receptionist to start the following week.

Jennifer’s J. Kent Recruiter offered her the long-term temporary assignment and she was excited to get back to work. Little did she know at the time, it would result in an offer of full-time employment after less than three months on the job.

Congratulations, Jennifer!
