Clean Energy Technology Firm Utilizes Temp-to-Hire Model for Growing Sales Team

Nick

Technical Project Manager / Sales Support Specialist

J. Kent Staffing’s client, a $1+ billion clean energy technology company headquartered in the Denver Tech Center, is committed to fighting climate change by helping to build a future powered by 100% renewable energy.

They enlisted our expertise to fill a new position created to help support their growing sales team. The role is responsible for managing projects with top-down oversight and ensuring internal and external resources are allocated to complete requested projects and tasks.

Our client has successfully used both temporary and temp-to-hire staffing to build their operations and sales teams. Not only does it allow them to see firsthand how the individual performs and fits into their dynamic culture, it also is an effective way for them to allocate hiring and recruiting costs over a longer period of time.

Meet Nick – Technical Project Manager / Sales Support Specialist

Nick completed his BS in Business Administration from State University of New York – Oswego and then continued to develop his career in sales and sales management. He worked for five years for a large real estate firm, ending in the role of Technical Operations Analyst where he was responsible for managing system outages and the weekly deployments of new technology and product enhancements.

Nick was able to transfer with the company from New York to Colorado in 2019 but was laid off in 2022 due to the downturn in the real estate market. The silver lining was that he was still in Colorado where he could continue to take full advantage of his favorite outdoor activities such as hiking, camping, and skiing.

New beginnings also provide an opportunity to shift to a different focus. Nick started his new job in early December and is excited to transition his technical skills and knowledge to more of a project management role.

Best of luck to you in your new position, Nick!
