Jose completed a BS in Chemical Engineering, minor in Explosives Engineering from Colorado School of Mines in 2023 and is continuing at Mines towards his Master’s in Business (Engineering and Technology Management) which should confer in 2024.
Flexible Temporary Assignment Works Well with School Schedule
Hard work and a busy schedule obviously don’t bother Jose! On top of a full-time school course load, Jose was eager to add another 35-hour/week job into the mix.
Our client is an ingredients supplier to the confection and nutraceutical industries, and they manufacture edible medicines made from cannabis for health-conscious adults. They needed extra help in their accounts payable department – updating W-9’s, reconciling vendor accounts, and uploading missing invoices. For the past two years, while completing his bachelor’s degree, Jose worked in accounting for a property management company, so he was familiar with A/P processes and W-9’s.
The schedule flexibility and remote work aspects of this job allow Jose to balance it well with his other commitments, and he has gotten off to a great start on this 4-month assignment.
Having grown up in Vail, Colorado, Jose loves all things outdoors – particularly rock climbing, skiing, and biking. He is pictured here with his girlfriend, Rachel, at graduation for her Master’s in Quantitative Biology Engineering. WOW!
