After working as a Paralegal for almost 20 years, Jodi embarked on a career change in 2006 to a multi-faceted job in operations, property management, and brokerage for a real estate investment firm. She found many parallels between the two industries and her talents gained from the legal field made for a smooth and successful transition to real estate. But after 12 years, Jodi found herself in the job market when her California based employer closed its Denver office.
Timing couldn’t have been more perfect for both Jodi and our client who has a regional office in Denver, and owns and operates a large portfolio of commercial retail properties. After our client’s very tenured Property Manager retired, they found themselves in a bind when their replacement left after only one year. In the end, they were looking for someone just like J. Kent Candidate, Jodi, who had great tenure and excelled at both the business and tenant relations aspects of property management.
Jodi was looking for a reputable and stable company where she could make a new home. Her only other requirement… time off each August for her and her husband’s annual trip to Sturgis. Fortunately, she was able to satisfy her entire checklist!
