The General Manager had been performing the organization’s warehouse functions and wanted to devote more time to corporate sales. Therefore, a business decision to add a Warehouse Manager to his team was made. Without professional Human Resource support, and a staff that was already stretched to the limit, with no one having the time to devote to calling, pre-screening, scheduling and interviewing potential candidates, J. Kent was engaged to conduct the Direct Hire search for this newly created position.
Our Employer, who manufactures and distributes materials to the heavy construction and mining industries, was looking for someone with 2-3 years of warehouse and shipping/receiving experience and the technical abilities to help computerize their warehouse inventory systems. Wasting no time, they contacted us on Friday, met with 2 qualified J. Kent Candidates the following Tuesday and started Myles on Thursday. Myles had just moved to Denver 2 weeks earlier and presented with 3 years of warehouse experience since receiving his high school diploma – just the right background, and someone who could help define the new position and grow with the company!
