J. Kent Staffing provides direct hire search and recruiting services for corporate clients in a wide variety of industries. This recent placement was with a nutrition science company that produces nutrients used in feed for the agriculture industry. Originally based in South Africa, the company moved their headquarters to Colorado and production plant to Kansas in recent years.
With a lean staff in the Colorado office, the CEO was looking to hire an Executive Assistant to support himself and to help facilitate communication and productivity with their sales team who were frequently on the road. They were seeking a technically savvy Executive Assistant who was smart, organized, efficient, and professional, and able to effectively support the growth trajectory of the company.
Amber satisfied all of those requirements and was recognized immediately by our client as a top contender for the job. Amber had worked previously as an Executive Assistant, but her most recent position was in a sales role that required frequent travel and needed her constant attention outside of normal work hours. With 2 children heavily involved in sports and after-school activities, she was looking to return to an Executive Assistant role that would offer a better work/life balance. Her background in sales has proven to be very helpful in her support of the company’s CEO and sales team as she knows firsthand the pressures and demands they encounter on a daily basis. And, originally from Nebraska, Amber feels right at home with the company’s agricultural mission and client base.
