Full-Charge Bookkeeper Starts Temp-to-Hire Job Amid the COVID-19 Pandemic

Teri

Full-Charge Bookkeeper

With all the uncertainty going on in the world right now, it’s comforting to know that some companies are still looking to hire. When a company unexpectedly loses a key employee, they may need to make a hire immediately – even during a pandemic. On March 27, 2020, when a new client connected with J. Kent Staffing about hiring a Full-Charge Bookkeeper, our team of recruiters was ready to help!

Our client is a long-standing Colorado business providing facility-related services to high-rise commercial buildings since 1975. Being an essential business, their staff continues to work in the office and every position is needed. Having recently been acquired in early March, the company had some transition in their staff and found themselves with an immediate opening for a Full-Charge Bookkeeper.

Teri was the J. Kent Candidate who got the job! A determined individual with a strong work ethic, she had been staying busy during this challenging time delivering food while steadfastly continuing with her job search.

Teri began working in accounting when she was just 17 years old through a temp job and continued her career from there. Our client is moving to QuickBooks Enterprise in the next month, a system Teri has a strong background working with. With experience working in a variety of industries at various levels, from being the sole accountant to working as an essential part of a team of accountants, Teri had the right experience for the job.

Teri started her new position on April 13, 2020. Congratulations, Teri!
