Alenda started her career in Accounts Payable but then went back to school for Business Education. She now remotely teaches business subjects such as accounting and marketing to high school students.
In May 2022, Alenda began working another 10-hour/week remote position for J. Kent Staffing where she coordinates and schedules sales meetings for a Senior Manager at our manufacturing client. The flexibility of the position enabled Alenda to fit in this extra job around her teaching schedule. Last month was her one-year anniversary on this assignment!
With schools out now for the summer, Alenda recently started a second part-time position with J. Kent Staffing. In this role, she works 25-30 hours/week for one of our nonprofit clients as an Accounting Assistant. With her previous accounts payable roles and her current experience teaching accounting, Alenda has a great skill set for this interim temporary position while the company conducts its search for a permanent employee.
Outside of work, Alenda enjoys traveling, entertaining, and spending time with family and friends.
